Eco-Koliwada integrates the community, ecology, and economy of the historic village of Worli koliwada.  Our proposal proposes three central zones and three major elements. Community zone, ecology zone, and economic zones are the primary development area. The natural levee, mangrove forest and the green belts are three significant components shaping the ecosystem and open space network. Natural levee is an ecological barrier around the village formed by native mangrove ecosystem that enriches the marine life, improves water quality and offers a crucial barrier to flood and sea level rise. Sustainable fishing activities empowered by seashell bed around this levee located along the water. The green belt is a network of green open spaces around the site which provides the accessible public seashore for everyone and its adaptation to the sea rise level.
